How We started

The First Steps

Studio Altitude Ltd, also known as Altitude Marketing, was formed by Laura and Tom on the 1st of December 2021, with a clear vision of bridging the gap between ambitious businesses and marketing agencies that actually cared about generating results.

But we are more than just a full service marketing agency, and we really mean it. We love to over-communicate, it’s at the core of how we work with clients, because we genuinely care about doing the best job possible to get you to where you want to be.

Laura King-Berry

Company Director

Laura co-founded Altitude with a love for strategy and a big belief in people. With 20 years of marketing experience, she’s hands-on with clients and always backing the team. When she’s not leading the charge, you’ll find her hiking or her nose in a good book.

Tom Bates

Company Director

As Co-Founder of Altitude, Tom has a strong background in development and growth. He makes sure every client gets marketing that delivers, and keeps delivering. Tom is all about results, real relationships and the bigger picture.

Chelsea Sinnamon

Managing Director NZ

Chelsea leads our New Zealand office with a strong sales and marketing background. She builds genuine client relationships and is all about smart support and results. Outside work, you’ll find her enjoying New Zealand’s great outdoors.

Maz Deo

Head of Marketing

Maz leads the marketing team with 13 years of experience and a love for strategies that actually work. With a background in PR and a head for structure, she keeps things sharp and running smoothly. She’s all about good vibes, great results, and making sure everyone’s aligned, and smashing it.

Tiegan Taylor

Account Director

Tiegan began as a marketing apprentice and now shines as Account Director. With a knack for client relationships and campaign delivery, she’s calm, clear and always ahead of the game. Outside of work, she’s into running, paddle boarding, and quality time with family and friends.

Annie Taylor

Account Executive

With 10+ years in design, Annie brings creativity and care to every project as an Account Manager. She’s all about strong relationships and smooth delivery from start to finish. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her renovating, dining out, or walking her dog, Karlos.

Angee Jones

Head of Growth

Angee is the queen of making big moves. With almost 10 years of business development experience, she’s focused on helping Altitude (and our clients) grow with purpose. Always up for a challenge, always thinking about what’s next.

Paul Weston

Web Project Manager

Paul’s a digital all-rounder with 10+ years of experience building websites that work as good as they look. He’s big on seamless journeys, smart code and close client collabs. When he’s not developing, he’s either racing virtual laps or thinking back to his American football days.

Claudius Sachinda

Senior Developer

Claudius builds websites that are fast, functional and beautifully coded. With 7+ years of experience in WordPress and PHP, he’s all about performance, precision, and clean builds. Outside of work, you’ll find him on the tennis court chasing the next set.

Thulani Vilakazi

Senior Paid Media Specialist

Thulani brings 9 years of Paid Media experience and a data-driven mindset to every campaign. He’s an expert in scaling across Google, Meta and more, always focused on ROI. When he’s not optimising ads, he’s chasing adventure, tech trends, or the next great podcast.

Amy-Skye-Lee Bezuidenhout

Graphic Designer

Amy is a graphic designer with 8 years of experience across print, digital, video and illustration. She’s all about creative storytelling and visual impact. Off the clock, you’ll find her in nature with her bees, where curiosity, creativity and a love for design keep her buzzing.

Stephen Leyahan

SEO Manager

Stephen leads SEO strategy at Altitude, using data and creativity to boost organic growth. From technical tweaks to content planning, he’s focused on results that matter. Outside of work, he’s probably watching F1, shooting hoops, or catching up on his latest anime binge.

Lauren Palmer

PR & Comms Manager

Lauren has 4+ years of PR experience and a talent for finding stories that stick. She’s all about bold angles and big impact. A proud cat parent, she lives with two feline troublemakers and is learning drums, though reviews are still mixed (especially from the neighbours).

Amber Taylor

Email Marketing Executive

Amber brings energy and creativity to email marketing, crafting campaigns that connect and convert. She’s all about timing, tone and standout design. Outside work, she’s a Disney fan, dog mum to Peggy and Peach, and always ready to scream-sing her way through a great gig.
